This was previously a directory of philosophers on Twitter. Now that Twitter supports lists, I have moved this directly to an official Twitter list which individuals may browse and follow. You can view the list here: http://twitter.com/johnbasl/philosophers/members.
I try to update the list with new philosophers as often as possible. I attempt to populate the list with only professional philosophers in the academy, professional philosophy researchers, and graduate students in academic philosophy. This is not because I’m opposed to others doing philosophy or because I’m elitist. My aim with the Twitter list is to have a place for a certain set of philosophers to find one another.
If you wish to be added to the list, send a message within Twitter that starts with @johnbasl or djohnbasl (if you are following with me) informing that you’d like to be added.
